Our History & Team
From our small beginnings as a small repair shop business to today, as one of the best full service, general repair shops in the Eugene area, Jackson’s Auto Care prides itself on our history with our community. As a team we work to uphold the outstanding legacy first established by our founder, Manson Jackson, to maintain our high standard of repair and care. Established in 1946, Jackson’s Auto Care, initially called “Jackson Motors” first made our claim to prominence as the biggest air conditioning center in the area after the invention and popularity of after-market air conditioning. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning repairs are something we still specialize in, though now we have since greatly expanded to offer a wide variety of repairs and services. Inspired by new technologies, Jackson’s Auto Care is constantly adding new tools and equipment to streamline our work and continue to provide the best line of care. At Jackson’s, we pride ourselves on walking the line between honoring our heritage and continuing to expand our shop to better service our customers.
Today Jackson’s Auto Care is run by our own Robert Langan, a local to the Eugene area who grew up learning cars and auto repairs alongside his father, who also owned a small automotive business. Having first been hired at Jackson’s as one of our ASE-certified Service Advisor’s, and came to love the Jackson Auto family. Now, Bob has been the proud owner of Jackson’s Auto care since 2015 and is dedicated to maintaining the small-town feel and superior quality of care that is characteristic of Jackson’s Auto Care. We take our title as the oldest independent auto repair shop in the Eugene-Springfield area seriously and pride ourselves on providing quality repair work at a fair price.
